Main Market Square

The heart of Rzeszów with its historic tenement buildings. A walk around the Market Square and adjoining streets takes 30–45 minutes. Admission is free. The town hall and fountain are worth seeing.


Dobranocek Museum

The only museum of its kind in Poland, dedicated to Polish fairy tales and bedtime cartoons. Here you will find original puppets from Teddy Bear Uszatek, Bolek and Lolek, and Reksio. The visit takes 45–60 minutes and there is an entrance fee. During the summer season it is better to buy your ticket in advance, as the museum is popular with families with children.


Ethnographic Museum

An exhibition devoted to the culture and traditions of the Podkarpacie region. You will see folk costumes, tools and reconstructed interiors. The visit takes 60–90 minutes and there is an entrance fee.


Monument to the Revolutionary Deed

A distinctive monument and one of the most recognisable landmarks of Rzeszów. From the Market Square you can walk here in a few minutes. Viewing is free.


Wisłok River Boulevards

A place for a walk or a rest after visiting the museums. They stretch along the river and have benches and cycle paths. Admission is free, and the area is particularly pleasant in spring and early autumn.
