Pendolino
Express InterCity Premium trains have been running in Poland since 14 December 2014 and are commonly known as Pendolino trains. PKP Pendolino trains operate between major Polish cities such as Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk, Gdynia, Katowice, Poznan, Rzeszow and Wroclaw, connecting the south and north of the country. Travelling on a PKP Pendolino train is very comfortable, which is due to the speed at which the trains run between cities, reaching speeds of up to 250 km/h! Pendolino trains are characterised by a modern model and silhouette on the outside and comfortable conditions on the inside - they are air-conditioned, have a bar area where you can buy a meal and electrical sockets where you can plug in your phone and laptop charger. A wi-fi network is to be launched in the future. Travellers can choose between different types of carriages. On Pendolino trains, you can choose first class, second class or travel in the quiet zone. It is worth remembering that on Pendolino trains it is not possible to buy tickets on board from the conductor and they must be purchased in advance.

FIRST CLASS
This is the highest standard of travel on Polish trains. There are only 45 seats in 1st class, which ensures a spacious and comfortable journey. Adjustable seats, seat spacing and individual lighting mean that travellers do not disturb each other and can enjoy their journey in peace. Travellers in First Class receive refreshments: two drinks (hot and cold), a sweet snack and a meal.
2ND CLASS
There are 357 seats in the second class of Pendolino trains. The carriages are air-conditioned and there is an electrical socket under each seat. Some of the seats face each other, creating a four-seat area with a table in the middle. Passengers are offered a choice of one beverage (coffee, tea or water).
QUIET ZONE
This is a specially designated carriage for those who appreciate silence. It is one carriage with 61 seats on each Express InterCity Premium train. In the quiet zone, mobile phone conversations are forbidden and electronic devices must be muted. Music can only be listened to through headphones.
